Fotopic
Many readers and users of the TRC website have contacted us today asking if we have any information about the popular photographic website Fotopic.net.
As we understand the position, the website was switched off in the early hours on Friday 2 January 2009. A trace today via the internet on the Company House website shows the company is in Liquidation. We have no further information.
Fotopic went on line on 28 September 2000 and since has created one of the worlds largest collection of railway illustrations.
TSN had a fotopic with some pictures on from our meet at the SKLR late last year. I am currently looking into a different photo hosting website, and will post back with more details as and when they emerge.
Thanks,
Ryan
