Hi I thought I would start this thread so our members can post pictures of the snow near them, the North East is due to get six inches early tomorrow so if you get the snow then post here. Darlington had a covering on Monday and it's still laying on the ground tonight as it's been that cold the road in my street is like a Ice Rink at the moment Bring Back Summer! If we evey get one Laughing Laughing

I've just read this on the BBC website you could be in luck.

A forecast of heavy snow has led to a third day off for pupils in many schools across north-west England.
Rochdale Council has recommended that all 92 of its schools close on Thursday, in anticipation of bad weather overnight.
Cumbria County Council has announced four closures and in Lancashire 16 schools are planning to shut. Bolton, Bury and Oldham will also be affected.

I think there was more than 300 schools closed today in the North East and North Yorkshire i watched the local news tonight ans some kid's made a snow man 10 foot high so that gives you an idea of how much snow we've had i'll try and find the pic and post the link some time tomorrow.
